Continuing Education Hours
Occasionally, The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, will offer a continuing education course depending on need. Our continuing education classes are designed to help individuals who are licensed or certified in a specific field such as health care, transportation, and construction, meet a level of professional development. Continuing education classes usually require approximately 16 contact hours, or as directed by the industry. They aim to provide updates on new regulations and policies pertaining to a field of work.
If you are in need of enrolling in a continuing education course in order to renew your license or certificate in the areas of Automotive Service Technology, Cosmetology, Electrical Wiring, Plumbing, Air Conditioning, etc., please contact the student services department at any of the following centers:
