The Median Annual Wage for heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers was $47,610 in May 2018, or $22.89 per hour. The median wage is the wage at which half the workers in an occupation earned more than that amount, and half earned less. The lowest 10 percent of workers earned less than $29,460, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $76,230.

What is the minimum age requirement?
You must be at least 16-years-of-age, with parental consent, and not currently enrolled in high school.
Do I need a high school diploma or GED to register for classes?
• No. But, if you need Financial Aid, you must have a high school diploma or GED Diploma.
• If you do not have a high school diploma or GED, we provide classes that will help you get one. We also offer GED Prep classes.
