Testing Requirements

Candidates can register for the GED® test at http://www.GED.com where they can schedule the test, choose the testing location and pay for the test.

1. Any form of national or foreign government- issued ID is a standard acceptable ID for GED® test-takers; which should be provided at the testing location.
2. The fee which is paid through the website is $32.00 per subject area or $128.00 for the entire test.
3. For underage testers, ages 16 and 17, an age waiver is required along with the approval of the Testing Eligibility Exception Form. Any GED® subtests taken before the approval of the age waiver and The Testing Eligibility Exception Form will be invalidated.
